Whatever has led you here today, welcome. My style of therapy is centered on being a real person that connects to you as a real person, not the ‘problem’ that brought you here. While I have been trained in various evidenced based modalities, the number one predictor of therapeutic success is the client and clinician relationship, and that is the most important aspect of our work together. My goal is to really hear you, even the parts that are unsaid, and offer understanding, empathy, and hope, with occasional sidenotes and curse words.

As a systems-trained thinker, I work to see the broader aspects of your life, including your relationship with others, your past, culture, society, and the big one, your relationship with yourself. Yes, it may sound cheesy, but the ways in which you see yourself will have a significant impact on your life and relationships. My clients often come to me with a view of themselves that is blurred by shame, unlovability, or weakness, usually given to them by past wounds and internalized, false, messaging. The overall feeling of not being enough, just as they are.

My goal is to help you rewrite the scripts you were given, and view yourself and your life through a lens of empowerment and ‘enough-ness’, knowing that every resource you need to heal is already inside you.

I will highlight your strengths until you can see them. I will keep the hope until you can find it.

I specialize in working with couples, relationship health after becoming parents, healing after infidelity, and I have a heart for working with first responders and their families.

I use an integrated approach to therapy, meaning I combine tools from various modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, The Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness practices.

I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based therapeutic modality to treat trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. For more information about EMDR, please click here.

As for me, I am married with two young children (and a dog, two cats, and seven fish). I am Italian-American, a musical theater lover, social justice advocate, and life-long learner. As a true Pacific Northwesterner, you will most likely find me in a coffee shop with a book, or hiking with my family
